The Furniture Technology Centre Trust (Furntech) offers support to new, existing and start-up businesses by providing incubation facilities and accredited skills training for aspiring entrepreneurs with a passion for woodworking and furniture manufacturing.
Furntech, through the support of Department of Economic Development and Tourism (DEDT) will be providing a learning programme in furniture manufacturing to selected unemployed individuals. The learning programme will be in Introduction to Furniture Manufacturing which comprises of the following over a 15 weeks duration:
• Manufacturing of built-in kitchen/bedroom cupboards
• Manufacturing of wooden doors and window frames
• Basic wood finishing
We invite interested individuals to complete the attached application form and the entrepreneurial assessment with all the required supporting documents, and submit as follows:
